This video was previously posted, however, THE FUTURIST! wishes to re-post in order to point out that when the fantasy of happiness represented by dance is visualized at the end of THE LAST DAYS OF DISCO (directed by Whit Stillman) you will notice one passenger on the subway that does not respond to the fantasy … he does not allow himself to “let go”.
That man in the suit, on the right of the screen near the subway door, reading the newspaper is cinematically … THE FUTURIST! He actually looks a bit like him … though that actor has more hair.

I hope this movie does not actually take place during the last days of disco, because I don’t think there was a subway train in Manhattan that was that clean in the late 70s/early 80s.
